Hamas has themselves to blame: slaughtered for having slaughtered; they may find themselves mostly martyred, and this the last time.
(What did they expect?)

You are all heart (not) Warrior!
Look and see how many Palestinians were killed by Israel since 2008!
https://www.ochaopt.org/data/casualties
Were they all killed peacefully attending a music festival or mebbe attempting the destruction of Israel and the extermination of the Jewish people I wonder...?
Did you really needed to ask?
No, they were killed by standing up against being oppressed by the Israelis in their own homeland.
Where 'Standing Up' = terrorism, murder, bombs, rockets, etc...
Perhaps you would choose to lose your dignity and just lay down and accept to be oppressed if you were in their situation, but they would rather stand up and fight against oppression.
To each their own, and one needs to respect that, no?
Violence and killing is never the first option to solve such problems, but the side who is doing the oppressing is also doing most of the killing of those whom their land and liberty has been taken away from them, and then you want to blame the victims when they refuse to accept it going on 70+ years and fights back, despite the odds being against them!
I think I'd realise that calling for the eradication of my 'oppressor' and all its people World Wide as a starting point is not a good negotiating position to take...
In essence, violence and killing is the first option for Hamas...
Wasn't it Clinton that said of Yasser Arafat at 'peace negotiations', "he was here for 14 days and all he said was 'no'"... The position hasn't changed since...
......and Yitzhak Rabin was assassinated by far right Israelis for trying to reach peace with the Palestinians, so what’s your point?
You might find this discussion interesting as to who wants peace and who doesn’t!
