Chondrokoukis dumps Greece, opts for Cyprus.

Postby Cap » Fri Aug 28, 2015 7:54 pm

Disgraced Greek high jumper Demetrios Chondrokoukis is competing for Cyprus and has qualified for the IAAF World Championship high jump final.
'In July 2012, it was announced Chondrokoúkis tested positive for the performance enhancing drug stanozolol, an anabolic steroid. As a result, he was forced to withdraw from the 2012 Summer Olympics.

In June 2013, KOEAS (Cyprus Amateur Athletic Federation) announced that Chondrokoúkis will represent Cyprus, since his mother is from Karavas, Keryneia, Cyprus'

So.. now Chondrokoukis becomes the 4th 'Cyp' in history to make a World Championship final...

I don't trust him.
I've got my eye on this half cast.

Most - if not all - athletes use some performance enhancers. Some have been honest enough (in anonymous questioners) to admit to this.

Yes absolutely Cap.

His genes are mixed, hence why he took to performance enhancing drugs as is common in Greece.

Keep an eye on this half-cast Kalamara because he could disgrace Cypriot Athletics on the International Stage with a drug scandal.

Bullshit!

You try this in Australia and you would be roasted. The sporting authorities are regularly testing all Australian Athletes. The are even at AFL, A-League, Rugby League, NRL matches testing and when they test they test the entire team.

There is the odd person who gets caught but I would say Drug Use is very rare.
