The Truth sets you Free. Sadly, and often, the Truth, hurts. Courage is needed, when it comes to finding Truth, mostly because of the fear we have of the possibilities. But, what comes from Truth is far better than the myth that Fear creates to sustain itself. It is a vicious cycle, Truth breaks.
I am not afraid of the Truth, and what i suggest is that there is no convenient time for Truth, indeed, in this case it is being used, like the bombs found recently in the north, unlike the bombs though, i think Afrika's purpose is to make us aware. Cypriots more than ever must find the solidarity within themselves to face facts, and to choose, a society which changes the dates on headstones to suit themselves, or one that recognises what is the Ignorance that has caused so many deaths, and suffering.
I want to live in a Free Cyprus. And what is wrong with making it clear, telling the Truth, murder is murder, better for the Turkish Army, if they have the guts to change themselves, discipline is everything, isn't it? Better for the Cypriots whose graves will be found. Better for the person who after so many years relieves himself of this secret. Better for the rest of us who must change our intentions to improve the state of our lives, as Cypriots. Better even for the "Turk" (or, the "Greek") who may realise that they too must change, adapt, integrate, to improve themselves. And yes better for Afrika, because pik by reporting about this incident gives the paper even more credibility as a news source. One hopes that the CMP will have an easier time having access to possible gravesights, although it is still up to, you guessed it, the Turkish Army.
I think we can all agree that the Turkish Army is a tool used very foolishly for "Turksishness"; we can hope that Turkey will overcome its own battle with "Turks".
