No that is NOT equity. That is something more like Apartheid where one community has more rights than the other.

No other country on the planet attributes political equity to communities but to citizens instead. Cyprus was always a powder keg waiting to explode and you lost old boy because its your community that is isolated, whilst the GCs enjoy dejure legitimacy because of your illegal actions.

you dont understand the meaning of equality boy. learn it and we shall have a discussion.

I'm afraid it is you who does not understand or have any concept of reality.

There is no community on the planet which has been granted political rights as a community at the expense of another community. That is not equality, or democracy. It is discrimination and Apartheid or some tin pot crap which is only going to create issues between the 2 communities.

In a real democracy, equality is afforded to the citizen, no matter what their race, gender, religion, or political persuasions.

It has a veto. It has an equal voice to other EU members of much greater size on a whole range of issues in the EU council. It appoints a single commissioner as does every other member state regardless of their population sizes. Even in the EU parliament (the least powerful EU institution) the ratio of population to EU MP's is vastly lower for the RoC than it is for larger member states. Is that not 'akin to apartheid' ? Is that not saying a Cypriots voice in the EU is 4 times or 10 times or 30 times greater than a Germans ?

A veto on what exactly? Turkey's accession? You can't join a club where you don't even recognize one of the club members. It does not equate to equality with the likes of Germany etc.

Does it have a veto on anything else because if that is the case, they could have vetoed the abysmal ECB (Troika).

 The EU is not a constitution but a regional organization of nations so it’s pretty daft to use it as a comparison of constitutions.

What you should be comparing it with is an organization like the Arab League.

Btw, the Kurds contribute to Turkey's annual GDP but your people are utterly useless and a major liability to Cyprus, so they deserve far worse than what the Kurds are getting.

ang on a minute sunshine

embargoes embargo embargoes. despite that our 10 nightclubs/casinos produce more turnover than the whole of the roc. of course it does help that our friends south of the border contribute to our casnios/nighclubs and we would not be able to do it without them. when it comes to tax thats different. we inherited that mentality from you boys who just have not acclimatised to tax inspectors.

when it comes to equality, get real man. do you even know what that means.

for instance 1 tergg equals the world. simples.
