Like in all past talks the vital bits of territory and properties were left last. And now we get the hints "no territory maps have been submitted", "no villages named", "no colonists will be expelled".

Not one word for any incentives to repatriate TCs to the north. I am referring to TCs who emigrated after 1974, and who logically should be the first to be offered GC land in the north, if the intention was to safeguard their rights to the island. And naturally even less than zero mention of GCs returning to their properties.

this agreement will be within the principles of eu. land will returned to the southern state probably more than the 2004 plan.
gc who wish to settle in the north will be able to apply to the commission which will be made up of equal numbers of gc and tc members. they will decide if somebody cannot return. the guidelines for their decision will be publish as to what they do under which circumstances. the property problem is all in your mind. to think that there will be so many people wanting to return that they will not be allowed. far from it. we will be lucky if more than 10,000 will want to return. there were 5000 girneans which half have died already waiting for peace. even if 50,000 want to return they will be able to do so. they have 3 months to sort out governance and territory and guarantee.

Good, because the EU rules do not allow any discrimination between citizens. Any preferential treatment of the colonists will have to be made available to ALL Cypriots. And that should put a damper on Akinci's enthusiasm about accomodating these leeches.

As for TCs being given incentives, like many, maybe most, TC posters on the forum you are surprised that there should be incentives for TCs who left post 1974 to return. Yet you are not at all suprised by the desire to safeguard the "rights" of colonists, the provision of finance so they can retain stolen properties, and a bunch of other favors that ALL TC leaderships want to give them.
