20. Cypriots are free to number their highway code rules any way they wish or even leave them unnumbered if they like

I am in trouble ... I never manage to follow all the CY Highway Code rules... I break at least 4-5 of them each and every time I drive!

21. At the white stop lines across junctions and at traffic lights, aim for between a half and the whole car stopping beyond the line.

Section b - Pedestrians

b.1 Always choose to walk in the road rather than on any pavement there may be.

b.2 When walking at night ensure you wear the darkest clothing possible and make sure you have nothing reflective on you or any artificial lighting.

23. When waiting at a red light, if you are not the first vehicle, start beeping your horn within one millisecond or less of the light changing from red.

b.3 If walking with a pram use the pram as an effective means of forcing on coming traffic to stop when you wish to cross the road.

We pick our jobs! Usually taxi drivers and labourers are foreigners. It's like the UAE where all the taxi drivers are Indian, Bangladeshi, and Pakistani. :D

That's a survival rule. Honestly, if you don't push in, how the hell do you get in the roundabout. No one in Cyprus is going to have the courtesy to let you in.
