Re Bordo, This would mean that either more police per person in the north and or less police per person in the south. If TC's police the north and GC's po;lice the south.
Or what is more likely with this ignorant and stupid idea;
Is that some policemen in the republic of Cyprus would probably lose their jobs and be replaced by Tc's who will police in the republic. Who, probably cant speak Greek and have a difficult time understanding the law because of the rogue state they are used to.
I don't suppose that you want 50:50 police in the north do you?
All of this is a farce. The TC political leadership come up with Sh!t that is way disproportional and costs (usually the GC;s) way too much. What they propose is really unattractive and they have no clue how crap it looks to the Gc's. Then when they start the blame game, they make themselves look illogical and thick.
Not to say that the Gc's political leadership is la creme da la creme but relatively speaking, with the TC involvement, the state would have economic and political problems indefinitely. Since 1960, the TC's created deadlock in the republics government and then ducked themselves in an embargoed illegal state built on stolen private property belonging to their citizens.
Now they think they can waltz back, demand more than they had before AND keep the property they stole from their citizens.
