Now on my blog, the first part out of "The Life and the Work of Apostolos Kaldaras". This part tells about the early years of this great "laika" songwriter, his first song "Mangas came out for a stroll"(1946), the story of "Night has fallen without moon" and his cooperation with Kazantzidis.

Greek music is, for me, the best !!
Although Apostolos style and voice were not my preferred style, he did appeal to many Greek music lovers.

Having been, in my younger years, a professional Bouzouki player/ singer I appreciate the wonderful sounds of bouzouki music.
