I was not aware that Germany is the only EZ country that still has billions of D.marks in circulation and that the mark is widely accepted in German shops, although it seized to be a legal currency on Germanys adoption of the Euro, no deadline was stipulated as to when the mark would become obsolete. The Germans are very fond of their sovereign currency and Im convinced Germany has a hidden agenda.

In the unlikely event of a Greekexit it will be from the Eurozone and not the EU.

The EU has achieved nothing towards solving the Cyprus problem.

Turkey is not part of the EU so why would they need to be involved.

Yes Grexit will have serious implications, financial and political, but so would caving in to Greek demands for an end to austerity.

I don’t see any special implications.

The Greek government’s internal debt towards its citizens will be taken care of with the issuing of a local currency.

The Greek government’s external debt will be paid off in a few centuries time which is roughly the same time it would’ve taken them had they remained in the EZ.
