Thanks to the likes of Sotos, B25, GIG to name but a few that dream is now shattered. I don't hate anything or anybody, I wasn't brought up to hate. But I am getting very strange feelings about my fellow Greeks since participating on this forum. I wonder if my feelings are what you may consider as HATE? I certainly don't want to have anything to do with Greeks right now, I couldn't care less if they all rotted in hell. Why am I feeling like this? I have a lot of love and respect for my fellow man so why am I feeling like this about my compatriots?

I once called my good friend Miltiades and spoke to him about the state of North Cyprus, I told Milti that I was so disillusioned with all that was happening that I would be happy for a settlement with a protected minority rights. Now, though, that settlement I would have accepted as a minority is a thing of past.

I was against Greek property and land being looted, I wanted all the Greeks (those that wanted to) to move back to their villages and homes. I wanted their misery to end. Now, all that has gone, I now think rot in hell the lot of you.

I guess this is how people get radicalised, I must be the perfect example of how one can be radicalised so easily. And its all thanks to those Greeks that think they love Cyprus and are arguing for the best of the island. Well guys, your arguments of Ottoman remnants, you shouldn't be here, you don't belong here, you are the cancer of Cyprus has worked. It hasn't worked in the sense that I am agreeing with you and packing my bags and leaving on the next plane to Turkey. No, Not that I kind of "worked" because I disagree with you and consider myself a Cypriot. It has worked in the sense that if you all were on fire I wouldn't piss on you. From this day on this TC is an anti Greek TC.

there can't be a solution that the Gc will accept that includes derogations and no full return of ALL refugees in a bubble of a bbf....On the other hand the GC and the ROC had 41 years to create a society with no racial discrimination a justice system thats second to none and remorse for treating their Tc minority compatriots in a thoughtless way... If the RoC had created a Switzerland in the eastern Med. there would be no reason that the Tc would want to join them as a minority status partner in a democratic Cyprus. Unfortunately that has not happened. Negotiations are ongoing and both sides are negotiating something that they really don't want...pathetic.

Well put Ocean. They have shown no remorse and they are extremely thoughtless towards the TC's. I probably represent the vast majority of TC's and I'm being absolutely honest with you in that I have always been for all settlers to be repatriated and all Greek properties to be returned to their rightful owners. You'll find dozens of my post confirming this.

Today though I'm having second thoughts in that perhaps it would be a good thing for settlers to stay, let alone a good thing for the existing ones to stay but hundreds of thousands more to settle. Greeks must be feeling safe by their sheer numbers so maybe I should think along the lines of "safety in numbers". If there was a referendum a few years back on this issue I would have voted for each settler to go back to Turkey. Today, thanks to the mentioned racist Greeks that vote will definitely be for them to stay. As I said, I am concerned for my safety so I am going along with the "safety in numbers" mentality. Based on some aggressive posts I should be afraid.

The aim of my post was to highlight this fact, the vast majority of TC's have love and respect for their Greek compatriots, if the Greek contributors of the forum think they are helping their cause by constantly throwing abuse at every TC then I can assure you they are doing the exact opposite.

You keep invading our island, keep killing native Cypriot people, keep bringing your foreign Settlers and giving to them our lands, keep violating our rights and you want us to show remorse?  You are the one who should show remorse as you are the invading criminals. We only fought for our rights as the native majority of this island, namely the right to democratically take decisions instead of having foreigners impose decisions on our own island.

And you think you are doing Politics this way??
Shame on you, and shame on MrfromNG, who much to my regret he is doing nothing else other than initiating vitriolic topics.

I'm sorry you do not approve my post Pyrp. I'm not sure how you deem it to be vitriolic. It was to highlight my disappointment as to how the TC's are treated here. I'm disappointed in the moderate Greeks too in a sense. Not one of the good guys has the balls to tell the racist, TC haters that what they say to us is not helping the Cyprus problem. If a TC came on here throwing insults and just being plain unpleasant I'm sure Lordo or myself would have something to say about it. With you good guys this is not happening which then makes me think you condone their actions.

Well, join the club, your lot have already turned me. So please don't give us that the TCs have love and respect, I beg to differ on that front.

And to say you want 100s of 1000s of Turks to be in Cyprus just proves your non Cypriotness (since no true Cypriot would want this) if you feel safe in numbers, there are 80 million of your compatriots just 40 miles away, perhaps you will feel happier there?

I am Cypriot so am staying put. I just want to feel safe in my country. I wasn't feeling like this before. I wanted all the settlers to go back to Turkey. See if you can guess what made me change?
