This is a propaganda tactic well known by the Turks. They will kill 1000s, 10s of thousands or even millions of innocent native people and then they will make up whole stories about some individuals or a small number of their own casualties trying to present themselves as the victims... just so they will create an excuse to cause more suffering to their victims!

This is what you have concluded from watching this is it ? How sad. How sad for you and how sad for Cyprus.

What is sad for Cyprus is that we had the bad luck of being invaded by Turks. The video you posted is trying to equate the invader with the invaded by using stories of individuals. During WWII the Germans had 100s of thousands of civilian casualties during air-raids by the allies. The Japanese even had two whole cities nuked. Those lost are also people and I am sure the survivors and the relatives of the dead would have many sad stories to tell. Does this mean that the Axis and the Allies had more or less the same share of responsibility? Clearly not! Personal stories are just a few branches of trees... not the forest.... The forest is the big picture and when you see the big picture is quite clear which side was wrong in WWII and it is even more clear in the case of Cyprus. In Cyprus we are the native people and you invaded us, killed 10s of thousands of Cypriots and oppressed us for centuries. And just a few decades after your oppressive rule was over and when we had EVERY RIGHT to finally freely and democratically take decisions for our own island you AGAIN choose to go against us because you STILL do not recognize our right to democratically rule our own island. That is the big picture and unless you recognize that you side was WRONG, just like the Germans and Japanese recognized that their side was wrong, then there will be no kind of peace between us.

Sotos wrote:Unfortunately you are the same thieving criminals in 2015 as you were in 1571. Still trying to steal our lands and violate our rights. At what point in history did you accept that the majority had a right to take decisions democratically for Cyprus? NEVER. It was the same in 1571, in 1821, in 1955, in 1963, in 1974 all the way to 2015. 1571 was not just an isolated event but the start of your non-stop crimes against Cyprus. Heck, if in 1571 you've done one of your usual raids against Cyprus and then disappeared, then nobody would even remember that by now or care. The problem is that you stayed on our island and you have been causing problems ever since.
