Rumors that APOEL may sign up Argentinian Fernando Cavenaghi…

If they do, APOEL will be a force to be reckoned with because he’s a prolific goalscorer.

Perfect for CL Group Stage if they make it.

For the first time since the departure of Ailton in September 2012, APOEL *finally* have a striker!

Fucking hell! It took them 3 years to wake up...

And they'll hopefully sell the useless ones... Leal, Piatkowski, Stilic.

Re Pattixari! Stilic is probably one of the best players that arrived in Cyprus. You haven't even seen Piatkowski play full games yet to form an opinion. As for Leal, he's not even a striker, he's a winger. And for your info When Almeida was in Apoel he scored a third of the goals that little unknown Adorno scored.

I've seen enough of these three to determine that they're useless for CL level football. Against Aradippou, Ermis and Doxa I'm sure they'll impress.

A striker is the player who is positioned nearest to the opposing team's goal in order to score goals! Whether he's offically classified a mifielder, defender, or forward is irrelevant. That's how Leal has been used recently.

Adorno was another one of those suited for the CY championship but useless in Europe.

GR is right. This is probably the best transfer of this summer.

Stilic and Piatkowski were transferred from Polish clubs; the Polish league is inferior to the CY one. http://www.uefa.com/memberassociations/ ... s/country/

Leal played in UAE. No comment.

It's happening.
He's in CY as we speak putting pen to paper.

 They probably pressured him to join ISIS and fled!

They presented him with the new roster and he wasn't amused…

Saturday: Game against Al-Abbas
Sunday: Game against Al-Ahood
Monday: IED basics 101
Tuesday: Border skirmishes 101
Thursday: Lubing the Kalashnikov
Friday: Battlefield posting outskirts of Aleppo
