The Cypriot team to watch this year seems to be Apollon Limassol.

This is actually the strongest Apoel for the past 2 years re axapare! Forget the friendlies, they don't mean shit.

I hope you’re right and I’m wrong but I doubt it because I had a look at their 3 recent transfers only to discover they’ve bought nobodies, and their results in Poland can’t be utterly irrelevant.

Only ho-homonia.

Man, those guys just don’t get it! They’ve got Pote up front all on his own with nobody feeding him the ball and they expect to score!

Weird… :?

Would it be considered "preparatory training" if a 6th grader was to beat up a 1st grader in preparation for a fight with another 6th grader the next day?

Well I don't think so! If you know you can run circles around your opponent there's no point in challenging them as there is nothing to be gained.

In fact there's plenty to be lost for both sides as the 6th grader will have raised his overconfidence to a dangerous level and the feeble 1st grader will have completely lost his!

So why do some soccer managers do this in football? :?

ASK Mannersdorf 0 - 10 Rapid Wien
Neuruppin 0 - 11 Werder Bremen
RFC Tilleur 0 - 8 Standard Liege
PSV Eindhoven 6 - 0 DOSKO

I'll just mention Silic a main Bosnian national team member and the best midfielder in the Polish league and Piatkowski one of the best strikers in Poland.....Makrides one of our top national side players....New keeper came from Getafe in SPain....Varder from AEK who was arguably the best foreign player in the league last year....who are the unkowns?

I agree with GR! Those players are a f*cking joke. :?

They would be better off investing on local talent, if they cannot afford any decent players.

The money they wasted on their last 3 crappy signups they could’ve purchased a single good striker.
