The security concerns of the TCs are valid regardless of Enosis. I don't think that TCs distinguish their attackers into pro or anti Enosis groups. Some of the hardest fighting in 1964 was by anti Enosis cadres against TC strongholds.

who was exactly fighting against the coupist with what nikitas. there were a bunch of policemen who were all armed with a handgun and what 100 or so presidential guard. you do make things up as you go along.

you say makarios was against enosis, show me a single speech or a statement where makarios says he is against enosis. on the contrary after the coup when cacoyannis asked him about his supporters not supporting enosis and his reply reveals all about how he feels about enosis. He claimed his suporters were no shoiting ohi enosis but ohi anohi - no change. you people are just beyond belief.
