In Cyprus the Turks are a minority, like the Turks in Germany. EU members are countries, not minorities. That is how democracy works, and it should work exactly the same in Cyprus as it works in any other EU country.

As legitimate residents and landowners in Cyprus the TCs must be entitled to some of it. They have taken the north whether we like it or not, we need to negotiate the return of a significant part of it. Only the ROC can legitimise the northern state whatever its status, it will have to be a trade off, territory for acceptance of a northern component state.

Ultimately economics, not the federal constitution, will determine who governs Cyprus, the 50/50 "say" will be irrelevant.

You are wrong. There is no such thing as "99% german = 1% gc" in EU. In EU what we have is "1 country = 1 country". You don't have a country, you are a minority like the Turks in Germany. So in Cyprus it should be exactly like it is in all the rest of Europe. Your Turkish minority in Cyprus should get what Turkish minorities get in Germany or any other EU country.

Do you not hold a passport of the RoC? Doesn't almost ALL TCs also hold passport of the RoC? When Cyprus became an EU country, so did ALL of it's citizens, including ignorant fools like you, unless ALL the TCs have abdicated their RoC citizenships, in which case you can then say that RoC is ONLY GCs.

RoC as a country does equal Germany in voting on EU matters each receiving one vote, and ALL EU citizens are also equals individually, in which they also get one vote each.
