Yes it is an utter disgrace, but sadly fake claims have become a big problem in the UK with the growth of claims management companies that are sometimes the front for organised fraud of this sort. It used to be for alleged "whipladh" and other difficult to diagnose injuries, from alleged car accidents, sometimes staged....

Pleased to see the problem is recognised and hopefully being tackled.
