I just wanted to make a common sense comment of the title of this thread, "agreement is coming".

If that is the case, why with all this so called "confidence building" measures, such as opening more crossings, joining telecommunications, no entry stamps at the crossings and so on?

After all, if there is a settlement coming, ALL of the above problems will go away also, wouldn't they, so what's the point with these so called "confidence building" measures?

Those who side by the Karasakalis and never miss a chance to tell the Gcs that they "don't have the balls" are not Cypriots by my standards. Those who pretend are Cypriots while they get shit scared just because the GCs have a weapon at home to get protected from a sudden attack by the Karasakalis are not Cypriots either.
