He is on to his 4th Lambo , as he refers to them, the trouble is he is always ....skint, every text he sends me its not to enquire about my well being but, you know what...... He is so crazy about these cars he knows every single nut and bolt, his house is full of Lambo, Ferrari mags, in fact the magazines take a whole room.
He is also into car racing, watching only, a sport that I find so so boring, a bit like cricket really, cars running around aimlessly at high speeds, just like a bowler that keeps throwing the ball at a pair of sticks !!!
As for me, well I have had the same car for over 10 years, a plain Jag, not even sure which model but a comfy and reliable car. Must admit though that in my younger days I had an Aston Martin, an E-Type jag and other petrol guzzlers like a 12 cylinder, two petrol tanks, XJ12 . What a fucking idiot I must have been !!!!
A Ferrari is a masterpiece as are Lambos I am sure. Both are very special cars and I feel privileged having driven one for real.
What I did in that vehicle would have landed me in jail in Australia, UK or US of fucking A.
Had a shot at the full motion simulator too before driving the real thing. It had my heart racing so fast it felt like it was about to jump out of my chest and it was very violent. The real thing was easier.
Your son has done the right thing if he loves them so much and I can't blame him at all. Life is too short. Beats driving a polo and doing 5.1L/100. When you're in one of these vehicles, you own the road.
