What's wrong Gig, I thought you were for Scottish independence Joining with Ireland is the natural progression, or do you have something against the Irish?

I am all for Scottish independence (if that's what the majority decide). But, joining with Ireland will be 'out of the frying pan into the fire'.
I also want Ireland to be decolonised completely (as should Cyprus be) and to regain full sovereign control over all its landmass and borders.
Scotland and Ireland can then form alliances through shared cultural and ethnic similarities (although these are fewer than those of Cyprus and Greece). They will be united under the EU as their ties with the EU are stronger than those of the English.
England has the Commonwealth - but, it is crippling its mentality ....
