For starters NATO already has plenty of bases on Cyprus via the SBA and the stupid Turks so nobody is interested from a territorial perspective.
The only likelihood of the criminal yanks making such a daft suggestion to Cyprus could only possibly be to spite the Russians, but the yanks will get a big Hloraka cucumber up their arses because Cyprus can never accept that for a dozen reasons.
It's just not gonna happen so forget it.
