They are getting the best intelligence available.

Keep the faith brother. At the end of the day, all brutal regimes like this have one thing in common. They implode on themselves, and when this happens, we will be there to finish them forever.

Essentially, they are a doomsday cult who believe they are bringing the end nigh and, since it is known that the universe will go on for tens of billions of years yet, when doomsday fails to come, they, too, will be doomed.

i thought only sacristans did that sort of thing, have they infected the muslims too gavole.

That reminds me of some lunatics you used to find along the Limassol sea front every Sunday who kept telling you: "Jesus is coming very soon." I used to ask them to put a precise date on it so that we can put it to the test, but always got a blank look. Later I would say: "That's what you said a year ago!" At least these particular deranged brainwashed idiots are not killing anybody or selling anybody into slavery, so you can just laugh at them.

they are very sad in themselves. agreed though what has been unleashed in the middle east is beyond belief. the power of suni in iraq comes from american support. america backed saddam and the sunis to the hilt. then when they invaded instead of going for the arms dumps and collecting them, they headed for the the petroleum office with all the details of where the oil was kept. in the mean time the arms with the saddam suni forced disappeared from view. now that the tables are turned and the shias are in power of course the sunis dont like it. so who put suni against shia.

who is ultimately responsible for the mess.

For an analysis of DEASH’s ideology and why they believe that the defeat of the army of Rome at Dabiq, Syria, will usher in the apocalypse:

According to physics, the end of the universe will not come in our lifetimes. Let’s see which world view is right.

I got to agree that something else is going on such as the Iraqi Government wanting to outrage the US for a much deeper and meaningful involvement. However, all they need to do is give the green light.

OR

It could be an Iranian ploy to outrage Washington into closer collaboration with Tehran in defeating DAESH and removing the embargoes at the same time.

Politics are at play.

As is shown by the existence of the web site 'Raqqa is being slaughtered silently':

http://www.raqqa-sl.com/en/

in which local people in Raqqa, Sunni Muslims, opposed to DAESH are chronicling that movement's crimes against humanity in their city. Several of the people behind this site have already paid with their lives.
