There have been setbacks as the Iraqi government attempts to reimpose its sovereignty over its own legitimate territory, and anyone who believes in the values of Western Civilisation must be concerned, but, ultimately, DAESH, based as it is on the attempt to breathe life back into an ideology whose sell-by date ended back in the dark ages and which belongs in the dustbin of history, is ultimately doomed to failure, and this failure will, in turn, hopefully lead to a process similar to the Western Renaissance-Reformation-Enlightenment in the Middle East.

Get Real! wrote::roll: The yanks have just supplied ISIS with a fresh batch of tanks and vehicles and as always masqueraded the affair as yet another ridiculous “Iraqi army abandons tanks to ISIS”, that only naïve idiots like Miltiades would believe.

How else would the global arch-criminals justify their equipment in the hands of the alleged enemy?

The US together with Israel aim to partition Syria and ISIS is their vehicle, but of course they keep running out of vehicles and equipment thanks to the brave Syrian military which deserves every heroic medal out there for holding out against all odds for some 5 years now.

The idiot is back !!!
"U.S.-supplied equipment abandoned by Iraqi troops in Ramadi"
You stupid moron, read the article again !

I am afraid to say that the news reports I have read confirm that the retreating Iraqi forces abandoned a considerable amount of weaponry to the DEASH bandits. Of course, even though this may well fit in with a conspiracy theory that the Americans are secretly arming DAESH, it could just be that the disorganised Iraqi forces once again melted away in the face of action and unwillingly abandoned all of this stuff. A bit of hard, credible evidence that the Americans are behind DAESH would be welcome instead of dogmatic assertions backed up with the claim that those who disagree are stupid.

The Americans have been supplying arms almost to the entire world, if such arms end up in the hands of a terror group it does not in any way infer that the terror group is sponsored by the USA.

The American haters such as the idots we have on this forum will of course insist that ISIS is being armed by the Americans, an absurd suggestion.

It doesn't matter how the barbarians get their weapons. Whether they pay for them directly (they certainly have enough backers) or find them or steal them.

It's time for the manufacturers of weapons/arms and their suppliers to take responsibility for how their products are being used/abused.

If we are going to move towards a more civilised society, we have to stop producing weapons to use against our own planet and its inhabitants.

Manufacturers will have all this covered and no, they are not responsible after the point of sale.

They are however restricted to who they sell their weapons especially in Western Countries. For instance, the USA and Australia have draconian restrictions.

The most heavily abused weapon in the world however is the Russian made AK47. That is the weapon of choice in Africa and around the world by militias, terrorists, drug cartels etc because they are easy to get a hold of. Western Arms are better controlled.

Or their CO was heavily bribed by ISIL.

I agree however. We need some hard EVIDENCE that the Americans are behind DAESH.

We've been hearing about this for months, but NO EVIDENCE.

They are reportedly in the area and Australian troops are reportedly just outside of Ramadi.

Looks like it is DAESH that is starting to ‘shit itself’ (to continue the infantile metaphor used at the beginning of this thread). Will the Kurdish YPG liberate the long-suffering people of Raqqa from this plague and restore civilised human values there? I think the YPG is only interested in protecting Syria’s Kurds from genocide, but time will tell.

Islamic State (IS) militants are reported to be shoring up the defences of Raqqa, the northern Syrian city that acts as the group's headquarters.
The move follows the capture on Tuesday by Kurdish fighters of a strategically -important town and nearby military base only 50km (30 miles) to the north.

The Kurds said on Wednesday that trenches were being dug around Raqqa.

The prices of basic supplies are also said to have risen in the city because key supply routes have been cut.

IS has suffered a string of defeats to the Kurds in areas along the Turkish border since being forced to withdraw from Kobane in January after a four-month battle.

On Tuesday, Kurdish Popular Protection Units (YPG) militiamen, backed by allied Syrian rebels and US-led coalition air strikes, continued their rapid advance towards Raqqa by taking full control of the town of Ain Issa.
