O'neils was under a differnt name was it not.i have'nt been in there as an o'neils pub.we know queens head well...we also used to use the bickley arms by the station and the ramblers rest in the warmer months...

Bickley arms yes! haha, i have many a drunken memory of the establishment. Very nice location, shame it is frequented by so many 16 year old louts.

Queens is a good pub since they refurbished. Landlord is a quality bloke.

Ramblers is a great summer pub, used to go down there with a crowd in une july sort of time and sit out by the rolling hills. All good memories.

Dont suppose you ever did quiz nights at the queens on a tuesday night>???

the ramblers was probably my favourite pub.no fella never done the quiz nights the old brain was'nt up to it i'm afraid.at the moment we are living in gillingham until july when we shall be relocating to arradippou.....

Mind you, for just a few hours a year, i wouldnt mind magicing myself into the queens or the ramblers for a good old fashioned pint and a packet of salted peanuts.

But Id quite happliy live in larnaca forever. In fact, if I were made to sign a pact never to leave Larnaca's borders for the rest of my life (in return for a few small bribes) id do it.
It has everything you'd want, and all the safety and security a society could ask for.

well when we pack our container we are going to put a few beers in there as well,not sure how much we can bring out but hey...i may even chuck in some salted peanuts for you pumpernickle how about that.......we just cant wait to get out there and start our new life in the sun..

Hey there I moved to Larnaca 2 year's ago and love it Like everyone has been telling you, there are some great Restaurant's, Pub's etc.....But what I like the most is that I feel alot more safe walking around the street's, ie: I can leave a club at 4am and don't have to worry about walking home alone if I want....I also live a 5 minute walk from the Sea Front (Phinikoudes), which is great, Summer (and winter for a nice, refreshing walk).......And you have the Airport, there are good Supermarket's, the clothe's shopping could be better but if you have any problem's with that you just take a 45 minute (approx) drive to Nicosia Im sure you've made a good choice

Agree about the clothes shopping. Why is everything tightfitting here in Cyprus? I prefer my clothes to be a little baggy so that I can breath, not skintight t-shirts:s

I have to say...I went to Larnaca last year and it didnt seem as safe as it used to. My parents used to let me rome Larnaca at night when I was 14 but I dont if id let my kids do the same.

Too many prostitues and generally shifty looking people. Cyprus has really lost some of its innocense.

..and the tight clothes! lol...I cant understand it! Especially the guys who wear spandex looking hot pants to the beach..wtf is that about! Looks SOOOOooooooo gay!

ı thought ı was the only one who find these tight clothes on men very repulsive ...very repulsive .good relieved now.
