To quote Pyro:
"Governance, governance they burst our balls with that.." Amen brother!
And hopefully this time round we are going to get some substantial post meeting briefings and not those idiotic cryptic statements as if these dudes are discussing some gravity defying secret at Ledra Palace or the old Airport.
The gist is territory. More than properties, territory is what counts. I have recorded my concerns. And the reversion of the SBAs to the GC side if the British even hint at leaving. Leaving that one open or even mildly ambiguous is an invitation to friction.
If we are going down this BBF road lets not forget that good fences make good neighbors. And that means clearly defined, easily policed demarcation lines.
Now for some speculation. The TC side will press to retain Morphou, which will have to be offset by major concessions in Mesaoria and Karpasia to maintain some realistic percentages of territory and coastline (unless they have some really strategic thinkers over there who can read maps). There might even be some hints as to how the imported water will make the semi desert of Mesaoria bloom etc and other fairy tales.
My family comes from the Morphou area, but even so, I regard the Xeros coastline and the whole Troodos massif as more important.
