My first reaction was amazement that this failed mummified corpse of a politician is still around sharing his "wisdom."
My second reaction was "Oh great! Another chance for a good laugh!"

I was shocked however to read that he didn't go into his usual rant of how he was the original ethnarch, how he happily served under Spyros but despised Spyros's administration and its mistakes (a powerless foreign minister apparently), how he lost out of the UN Secretary General job because of politics, how he discovered hydrocarbons off the coast of Cyprus while fishing in his blow up dingy, how he missed out on building a statue of liberty sized aphrodite on the coast of Paphos, how he was once asked to act as a stand in for Santa Claus or else xmas would be cancelled etc...

Instead I read about a couple of gardeners Mustafa and Nicos picking roses and ROlandis saying we need to solve the Cyprus Problem.....erm......ok!

There is a cast of GC politicians who were always ready for ANY solution, with the argument that the more we delay the worse we 'll get.
He is just one of them. Some of those are really genuine, Papapetrou for example, ex president Vasiliou etc.
This old crow Rolandis isn't genuine, he knows how to hide his personal interests.
