why has there been no comment on this yet, are we all in shock?

normally we hear the gc leadership screaming and causing a scene shouting suffocating time frames or we must prepare for the preparations talks and so on. but how different is this. they have already announced when the vote will be.

is that not different to anything that has happened in the last 50 years.

wass the matter cahrlui and the rest of the fanatics and the turncoat you got nothing to say. i dont believe it.

"The Annan plan was unwisely generous to the Turks" Lord Hannay, architect of the said plan.

We see what this one contains and we vote. What is the big deal?

Any "unwise generosity" and it will go by the way of the last one.

Lordo needs to wake up to reality...

With (1) Turkey not wanting to relinquish its foothold on Cyprus, and the (2) RoC not wanting to relinquish its legal authority on Cyprus, the probability that a tiny group of people you call the “TCs” attaining anything worthwhile on Cyprus, is... next to zero!

we shall see if the tcs can do a better job standing up to terggy than you boys did. be prepared to be pleasantly surprised at your own peoples vote result.

I think the worse case scenario is that Turkey cuts the funds, the RoC tightens the noose with other measures, and your system collapses in a few months and you’ll be back to begging Turkey for breadcrumbs!

You see, Turkey needs you to remain there in exactly the limbo state you’re in so as to justify her foothold. If you try to change your role (that no longer serves Turkey) I’m sure she’ll put the squeeze on you.

You assumptions are dogmatic. I actually foresee a good chance for a solution, and that will certainly not come from the Tcs alone but from the GCs as well. May you have a happy and prosperous New year 2016 too GR!

I really can’t see the Cyprus National Council coming to an agreement to hand over any authority to Turks, and I wouldn’t blame them either. What’s in it for them anyway? :? Nothing!

Both Cyprus and Turkey are screwing the TCs around giving them false hopes that some level of “power” over Cyprus is coming in their direction when in reality they both know that that’s not the ulterior plan.
