My assertion is that you just want to push the same central agenda that you have pushed here for years, namely that 'Greeks are better than other people who are not Greek'. I maintain that is why you only post links to stories that show the 'humanity of Greeks' and ignore those stories that show such humanity from people who are not Greek. Such suits your agenda. If it is natural for you to want to post positive stories about humanity shown by Greeks, because you are Greek, why do you show no interest at all in stories about humanity shown by other humans ? You are after all human as well as Greek I assume.

I SAID the story that you linked to about the old lady was lovely and that she was lovely. What have you said about the stories of humanity shown by ordinary people that are not about Greeks that I linked to ? Nothing is what you have said about those, because, I maintain, those acts of humanity do not serve your message that 'Greeks are better than other people who are not Greek'. I did not 'derail' the thread as far as it was about 'acts of humanity shown to refugees by ordinary people', I in fact added to it as far as it was about this. I only derailed it as far as it was about showing 'Greeks are better than people who are not Greek' and it is that THAT that has got you hot and bothered I believe.

Yes this is a Cyprus forum not a Greek forum, and you are a (Greek Speaking) CYPRIOT not a Greek, except as a result of delusion, wherd I suspect you do not believe the ROC has the right to exist as an independant nation, and where you have plainly denied the right of non Greek Speaking Cypriots to call themselves Cypriot.

You simply cannot tollerate criticsm of Greece or Greeks, even though the is much to criticise, as well as much to applaud, . Rather the kind act of one Greek person is promoted to apply goodness to all Greeks, when just a few days ago one had stories of a farmer driving tractors through a refugee camp, or of Golden Shower led thugs attacking refugees in Chios, with bottles and fire works, hardly humanitarian acts to be praised , or which put Greece in the wholly positive light as you seek to portray it.

I could do what you do and generalise the behaviour of a few to become the characteristic of the whole. I.e. ..all Greeks are evil refugee haters.... , but I won' t, as it is not true, only, I hope, a minority, just as it is patently not true that (demonstrated by the events in EG CHios ) that all Greeks are good.

One can only attribute the kindness of people to the acts of those individuals, it is plainly not an inbuilt racial charcteristic as you in your racist manner suggest when it comes to Greece and Greeks.

Most native Cypriots are Greek like any other Greek. The ONLY reason Cyprus is not part of Greece is because the Turks and the British did not allow it. If it was up to the native Cypriot people to democratically choose then Cyprus would have been part of the very first independent Greek state (from 1821).

People of all sorts of nationalities have come to Cyprus over the millenniums but that doesn’t mean you acquire their nationality and/or ethnicity just because they’ve come and/or settled here!

It just doesn’t work like that in real life… only in your Greek mythology book. Now grow up and snap out of such stupidities.

In fact, if it were possible to become “Greek” just because some Greeks allegedly came here 2000 years ago then you would just as much become German or Turkish when they in turn made their way here too!

So, not only do you believe in absurdities but you take your stupidity further with SELECTIVE absurdity!
