Shame modern lifestyles are leaving fewer people making it in to their seventies, unlike our ancestors who were regular octogenarian and even nonagenarians.
Bring back the peasant way of life!

Isn't life expectancy increasing all the time?
This is what the official statistics actually say for all countries with a modern lifestyle.

That's what happens when there is nothing on offer for them.
3 Cyprus Airways Pilots were recently employed by Aegean but resigned within 1 month. Saudi Airlines, FLYNAS of Saudi Arabia, Jazeera of Kuwait and QATAR Airways along with Al Mahah (Saudi Arabia) to take the lot.
60 odd young families with children gone, to be educated in Arabic countries.
Another 50 Engineers with their families also going going gone!
Only man left standing is my mate who is retiring to his wine making.
Obviously they must believe there is going to be a new Cyprus Airways as promised by the RoC government who must think the majority of Cypriots are idiots.

In case you're wondering.
The RoC beats both the banana brothers. Greece and Turkey.
In 2012, however, there was a fall in life expectancy at older ages for the EU, when compared with life expectancy in 2011. This fall was reflected in many of the largest countries in the EU (Figures 3 and 5). At age 85, male life expectancy fell by 0.1 years in the EU, and female life expectancy by 0.2 years.
The charts in Figures 4 and 6 show changes between 2011 and 2012 for all EU countries for life expectancy at ages 65, 75 and 85. It is striking that the fall in 2012 occurs across the majority of EU countries. For male life expectancy at age 85, only four of the EU’s 28 countries had an increase between 2011 and 2012 (Denmark, Greece, Estonia and Luxembourg). In all other countries, life expectancy at 85 either fell or remained the same. For female life expectancy at age 85, only four of the 28 countries had an increase between 2011 and 2012 (Malta, Slovenia, Denmark and Estonia).

Lets have a New Cyprus Airways that understands the basics. Modern Safe Aircraft, COMPETITIVE PRICING, attracting regular flyers who tend to fly with Easyjet and others.
Having just booked my flight with Easyjet, one way at £84.00, a real bargain, at this price I can afford to come to Cyprus for long weekends. Coming back about £50.
Had a bit of luck today, won the ....Lottery !!! Haven't told my other third who is joining me in Cyprus, if I did she will be asking for another ...handbag
May the 3rd I fly, the grandchildren are planning a 69th birthday surprise on Saturday May 9th, don't know what my other third is ...planning!!!
