Cherie Blair defending Orams!

Postby RAFAELLA » Fri Dec 16, 2005 4:39 pm

Mrs Cherie Blair is reportedly among the lawyers that will be defending the Orams couple

Turkish CNN-Turk (16.12.05, internet version) broadcasts that Mrs Cherie Blair, the wife of the British Prime Minister Tony Blair, is among the lawyers who will be defending the British Orams couple who had illegally build a house in the property of the Greek Cypriot refugee Meletis Apostolides at the occupied village of Lapithos.

CNN-Turk reports the following: “The wife of the British Prime Minister Tony Blair, Cherie Blair has undertaken the defense of the British Orams couple which lives in the TRNC. Cherie Blair will defend the property right of the couple against the Greek Cypriot administration. The British couple, which will be defended by a group of six lawyers with the participation of Cherie Blair, had been taken to court by the Greek Cypriot administration with the pretext that it had build a house in northern Cyprus on the land of a Greek Cypriot.

One of the Turkish defense lawyers of the case, Hasan Vehib has noted that the Greek Cypriot administration made an irregularity in the case and said that the case was contrary to the EU laws.

Vahib stressed that the participation of Cherie Blair in the case is a big gain for them, as she proved her success in cases regarding human rights in Britain. Saying that the Greek Cypriots intent to win the case, use it as a precedent and make it a tool of politics, Vahib noted that if necessary Cherie Blair might go to the TRNC.

Furthermore, Vahib added that the half of the expenses for the case will be paid by Orams family and that they did not take fees as Vahib Law Office”.

If the above news are correct then I believe that Mrs Blair shouldn't get involved. What do you think?

It's pretty unlikely the Orams can afford her Fees, so may be we will have the British PM's wife being paid by the 'TRNC' Administration!

Cherie Blair usually takes on human rights cases for free. This is her way of giving something back to society. Besides if this case is lost, her husband will have a massive problem to deal with.

Hi Zan

Not sure this is 'Human Rights'; this would be a matter of her appealing against the findings of a Civil Court action.

Lana

Edited to say: whatever the result 'Mr Tony' will be feeling fairly uncomfortable about this, as current President of the EU!

You mean she takes the cases against anybody that dares to defend his human rights?

Or you mean that the Orams had the "human right" to buy stolen property, while GCs do not have the human right to return to their own homes that you forced them out from?

Or maybe you confuse "human rights" with the "barbarians rights" which you are accustom to, which are to kill, rape and steal what others created?

Barbarians have human rights too, but your civilized state is denying them those rights - just to count a few - barbarians have been denied the right to marry, the right to vote, the right to own property, the right to fair trial, etc.

Killing and raping is not a barbarian copyright, greeks have done it many times in the past, I am tired of repeating it.

You say barbarian are stealing what you have created - well not at all, the land of Northern Cyprus was not created by you, it was there even before you settled on Cyprus 3000 years ago.

The barbarians = the thieves and criminals, have the right to be jailed and the rights within that (which does not include right to vote etc). Nobody was refused the right to marry or to have a fair trial.

The ones that did this were barbarian Greeks. This is not a race issue.

I see. So it is OK to steal a car, because the raw materials that were used to create the car always existed?

The land was inhabited by Greek Cypriots for 3500 years and they have created cities and villages there. It belongs to them, and not to some foreign invador.

We knew Blair and his administration were against us. But do they have to make it so obvious? :?

Mrs Blair is a disgrace to the legal profession.

Mrs Blair-=the protector of the rights of ruthless property speculators exploiting refugee's ethnic cleansing.

Mrs Blair is a whore and she is ugly and she stinks! My grandmother put a curse on her and Tony.
