Better font rendering for Windows:

To improve the appearance quality of fonts in Windows and your Browser, do the following:

In Windows XP:

Start -> Control Panel -> Appearance -> Effects -> Smooth edges of screen fonts: Change "Standard" to "ClearType" -> Ok

In Windows 7:

Start -> Control Panel -> In the search box type "cleartype" -> Adjust ClearType text -> Turn on ClearType -> Next -> Finish


Programatically, you can set the following registry key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\UseClearType=yes
