Turkey backs down from Aegean

So they issue a NOTAM covering a large portion of the Aegean, including parts of the island of Limnos for a period of 10 months. Greece takes this to NATO and ICAO and the next day the Turkish govt quietly withdraws.

Wtf just happened here?

I was also a bit surprised, did someone BIG have a word with them?


It just goes to show what somebody "BIG" can do where NATO is concerned. Pity "BIG" didn't tell Turkey to quit sniffing around Cyprus for gas.
