Reports are that the liberation of Tikrit is progressing very well with the ISF now in control of 3 outskirt suburbs of the strategic town.

All civilians have evacuated with only ISIL jihadists remaining.

ISIL are on the retreat.

I cannot believe the stupidity of so many adults in this thread!

They’re actually convinced that ISIS is some near-invincible demon force that appeared out of nowhere and now if only all the "civilized" powers come together they shall defeat it!

How naïve and stupid can you people possibly get?

What makes people so stupid I sometimes wonder but there is no answer… so I usually end up thanking God for choosing me to be wiser among billions of fools!

It's a good test run.

The Iraqis are receiving billions worth of Western Arms and training.

What happens here in Tikrit will be a good indication of where we are at. If the Iraqis can rap this up quickly then next stop is Mosul. If not then it's back to the drawing board. More weapons and training and then go for it again.

So far, the ISF os on a slow advance into Tikrit.
