Their job as well as the job of Greece and Britain was to guarantee Republic of Cyprus. How did they do they job??? If they had done their job the Cyprus problem would not exist. The fact that it exists means that they didn't do their job.

If they couldn't do this job, then they should not have taken it, and let Makarios and the government do it. Since they took it though, it is their responsibility, and they can not now blame Makarios because not only they didn't do their job but also funded the EOKA-B and TMT terrorists. That seems to be the views of a few Greek Cypriots these days...war is the only way we will get back what belongs to us. The Turkish Cypriot demands are so over the top and they persist on wanting Greek Cypriots to allow them to step on our human rights before a solution is found.

What Turkish Cypriots want is special treatment that no other community in the world gets in any other country.

I never said that a war should be made now. What I said is very logical: When you have the power you can insist on illegality, which is what you are doing now. When your power will run out (and it will sooner or later) you will not be able to enforce this illegality anymore.
