I am reading reports in the TC press that Tpap is passing a law to make it punishable by 4 years in jail for any GC who will apply to Talat's property committee.Do you know if there is any truth in this?

Absolutely no truth Bir..he doesnt need to do that.The mass media he controls will make it as hard for a G/c to apply without the threat of imprisonment...

dont know if thats true bir... but for sure its absent from the gc press. if it were the case i think we would know about it.

The only reason I would imagine these rumours to be circulating in the north is so that the TC public is pacified and its fears are alleviated from the stress that they are going through because of the changes in the constitution regarding GC properties and the direct effect on the interests on some of them.

As a former journalist myself,i am totally amazed how they can make up something as absurd as that.But they are.I've been reading about it for a week or so now.

We mentioned this before that it was put forward by and MP from the European party by the name of Kleridis. Stating that nayone who applied to the committee in the north would be jailed for upto 4 years or fined.
Maybe we should ask this inidividual is the press lieing?
