Assad Forces would have killed the vast majority, followed by FSA, ISIS, Al Nusra and some other groups and there are quite a few, such as Hessbollah and some other Al Qaeda affiliates for instance.

The Coalition have made very little impact in the short time they have been present.

What does this mean?

How many bombs did they drop in a month? They may have only dropped a few.

Here is a factual statistic - the RAAF has flown over 400 sorties and only dropped about 50 bombs. Only 1 in every 8 sorties will drop munitions.

So really, this headline is a bit of a non starter and is meaningless but very sensational in order to capture the attention of the ill informed like yourself! It sells papers in places like Norf London.

Further to this, it is the Pilot's Final Call whether to engage a potential target or not and on many occasions Pilots have aborted an attack against ISIL positions because the Pilot was not satisfied that there were no civilians in close proximity.

Great care and lots of planning go into each mission to ensure that only ISIL Targets are destroyed. Literally 100s of hours of intelligence gathering from people in the field, informants, topography assessment, infrastructure and civil services so much so a Pilot can competently draw a mud map on a scrap piece of paper before they even take off.

So no, the coalition has not even scratched the surface of that 200,000 you mentioned.
