back to the attack on the mosque. the people attacking shi-ites are sunis who have been supported to the hilt by the americans since the 50s. after all the shi-ites have always been pro-iran. the american interference in these parts of the world or that last 40 years has been a disaster which muslims of all persuasion have been paying for. if indeed god does exist and balances things in the long run, not even your god will be able to help you.
What a load of crap.
Most Pakis are very moderate people and support the young democracy that is developing in the country and the attempts of modernization.
They are an ally of the US because they view the US as a kind of insurance policy against the radicalized elements that exist in Pakistan, such as the Taliban.
The military is armed by the US to maintain control of the country and it is an important institution for them.
Pakistan has one of the most remarkable politicians in the world in Imran Khan. I believe he is the future President in waiting, a statesman and an extremely humble, generous and beautiful man. He will be greater than Gandhi!
the real question is very simple. is america helping in this part of the world or hindering. history will judge america more harshly then in vietnam. i suppose assholes will still claim that america was right to interfere in vietnam or cambodia too and i suppose the greek pigs will fly.
hereis the meaning of paki you ignorant wombat.
Paki acquired offensive connotations in the 1960s when used by British tabloids to refer to subjects of former colony states in a derogatory and racist manner. In modern British usage "Paki" is typically a derogatory label used for all South Asians, including Indians, Afghans and Bangladeshis.
Well the fact remains, that if it was not for the Americans, the Pakistani Military would not be as strong and may not be able to keep the Taliban at bay.
So what do you prefer? A democratic moderate Pakistan, or a medieval Pakistan controlled by the Taliban?
And Pakis is still used in Australia and it has no negative connotations at all. It is even used by Australia's biggest cricket journalists and commentators who are telecast to Pakistan and India itself, before an audience of a billion people, and the same commentators (being former Aussie cricketers) are actually good mates with the Paki Cricketers and Imran Khan himself who is one of the greats and a legend and will be Pakistan's future president, and who regularly visits Australia each year.
do you mean a bit like democratically elected hamas in gaza and muslim brotherhood in egypt. is that the kind of democracy you and the stupid yankees prefer.
They can elect who they like but their manifesto is problematic and against peace or a Palestinian State. The end game for them is the obliteration of Israel.
At the end of the day, they need to take some responsibility for their actions.
