The “anti-austerity revolution” proclaimed by Syriza and its fans elsewhere, however, has now fizzled, its passions doused by the political reality that leaders in the rest of Europe do not want to join or, more important, finance the Greek-led revolt.

No mr Tsipras, you did not 'change Europe'
All you got was an extension.
The intention was not to change Europe.
They were standing up for Greece and they did it very well and that has not been seen for a long time. I am not saying the previous administration did not want what was best for Greece but sometimes you got to push back otherwise they will steam roll you.
And he got his bridging loan to buy time for a new agreement which will hopefully be better. So I would say Tsipras has had a small victory.
And let me tell you that the Tsipras administration is really making the Cypriot Administration look even more idiotic than it is. So yes, you notion that Cypriots are superior is now challenged.
I do not agree with the leftist ideology but I take my hat off to them for having the fortitude to take the hypocritical EU on and win something for Greece. The battle goes on.
