I'm already in Larnaca, and Ill be staying for 6+ months. So far I like the island and its weather.
Can anyone tell me the best websites to look for a room (roommate situation) on a month-to-month basis? I've tried airbnb but prices are too high on that website.
I could also rent a studio for a 1bed apartment. However, for just 6 months, they want to charge me twice as much, both online and in 1 real estate company I've contacted. So, a 1 bedroom is usually 300 euros in Larnaca, but for 6 months, they want to charge me 600 euros. Any way to go around this, or owners prefer to take the chance of not renting or renting for too much?
I could pay a bit more, but twice as much seems ridiculous to me.

Also, what is the best (super)market near Ermou street? I've been going to Smart Market but not a great selection there.

Final question: any decent gyms near Ermou Street or in the center?
