Planning a trip to Cyprus on February 21st for a week. As always I take a single ticket and when in Cyprus I decide if I stay a week or longer.

Came across Norway airlines , a new kid on the block, flying out from Gatwick to Larnaca on Tuesdays and Saturdays, the cost of a single trip, direct flight with a 10kg hand luggage allowance, more than enough for me, a mere 61 euros or about £45 .!!

Bearing in mind that a train ticket from London to Manchester, on the same date , will cost you £79.60, Norwegian Airlines price is a bargain!

An email will be sent to NA requesting a free ticket for me, they are bound to get some good publicity on the CY Forum.

600 people just lost their jobs and apparently there is going to be an attempt to resurrect CA as a private entity.

Airlines like this are going to make this a lot more difficult.

I have always been highly critical of the "mismanagers" of CYA, not only because of their high prices but their policy, a few years back, of not accepting...Debit cards. The fact that they also intentionally mislead with their prices until you arrived at the booking area and found that the price had doubled from the one shown at the start. Stupid bastards they brought the downfall of our national carrier.
As a regular flyer Im constantly looking for bargains , I have now found one with NORWEGIAN AIRLINES, that I wish to thank for offering me a free return ticket !!!!
Not bad for a few hours work :lol:
