The answer to that depends entirely on whose side *you'll* be "fighting"...

Will his Rambo-ness stay and fight or will he flee to the SBAs so that he may be shipped out ASAP with the women and children?

What kind of shoes were you (or your father) wearing when you were running in 1974?

Lots of "brave" Cypriots like you before 1974 as well. They were going to throw the Turks in the sea and make them swim back to Turkey. Or so they though. Their bravery disappeared and they started running when the Turkish army landed.

Those that fled in 74 had no weapons to fight with, but what’s your excuse in 2015 other than a missing backbone?

There were plenty of weapons in 1974 and you still run away. And if you think that today is any different then what is your excuse for not using your "superior" army to liberate Cyprus? Either admit that Cyprus army doesn't have the power to win the Turkish one, or declare that you are pussies. Which one is it? ;)

Also tell me why Cyprus didn't bring the S-300 missiles in Cyprus even though we paid for them.

The S300 are a lot more usefull and effective in the Aegean.

Cyprus is more interested in Area Point Air defence. The TOR is right up the CNG's alley.

thing is, if you plan on shooting aircraft down 200 miles away, then you need to back that up.

What is wrong with what i said.

Sometimes Governments buy the wrong gear. The S300 is good for Greece but Cyprus is more interested in Area Point Air defence.

And they only realized they were wrong when Turkey threatened with war.

Classic case of Sour grapes.

I would have liked to see that. Turkey is a lot of hot air.

The S300 is able to defend pretty much the entire Aegean Sea and that is why they were moved there. The TOR and BUK are far more appropriate for the CNG. this is the main reason why the S300 were exchanged for other missiles.

Rubbish! I know from personal experience when MPs came and took my father away. About a week later when he returned he informed being given a big stick (shepherd's matsouka more like) and placed with 3-4 others to "guard" a water tank.

Btw, you haven't answered the all-important question:

Those that fled in 74 had no weapons to fight with, but what’s YOUR excuse in 2015 other than a missing backbone?
