Cypriots were enslaved for ever in the past. Where did you dig that up from?

During pre Roman and post Roman periods they were part of the ruling empire of the day, ie Greek and Byzantine. The ascendance of other empires that captured Cyprus also captured the surrounding countries, and more sometimes. Cypriots were not the only enslaved people in the area. Search out the origins of the word slave. Would you regard Russians as habitual slaves because at one time Russia was the source of slaves?

The former colonies of European nations should have hung their heads and accept their fate, if they followed your recommendations. Today they are independent nations- the USA being the most obvious example followed by nations of South America, Africa, India and South East Asia.

As for emigration, thousands of Cypriots moving etc, what the hell do you think the Anglosaxons did to populate Australia, Canada, N.Zealand and the USA? Obviously they did not stay home. Italy gave 20 million people to the USA. By your criteria that justifies the remaining Italians losing Italy.

Are you the man from Xeros? You sure have changed since the last time i came across your posts on this forum. Something is wrong.

Never claimed that. Cypriots are just like most other people.

But it seems that some members here seem to believe that Cypriots are the super brave race that can defeat an enemy 100 times larger, that they would never surrender and would fight to death rather than accept defeat. That's bullshit. History proves that there is nothing so special about Cypriots.

I am not blaming the immigrants either. I am just pointing out that people care first and above all about themselves and the well being of their families and they wouldn't fight to death or live in ruins if a better alternative exists, including the alternative of giving up their homeland or even living under foreign rule which is better than being dead for the 99.9% of the people.

I am not from Xeros.

Excuse me! The Americans already stated they do not intend on sending troops to Syria or Iraq. If they did, then DAESH would be finished.

There is plenty of stomach to fight so don't worry about that.

You (or your parents) left from Cyprus because it wasn't good enough for you. And you expect from Cypriots to live in ruins like in Syria?

My parents left Cyprus and Cyprus is good enough for me.

I don't expect to see Cypriots live under Turkish Rule. Obviously you don't mind as long as you don't live in a ruin.

Cypriots are better armed and trained than DAESH and the Taliban.

If Cyprus is good enough for you then why didn't you return to serve in Cyprus army and pay your taxes here?

Cypriots were living under Turkish rule for 4 centuries and under many other rulers for 1000s of years. If we would rather die fighting than live under foreign rule then our ancestors would have all died fighting long time ago and there wouldn't be any Cypriots left today. Your words of bravery are just empty words. History proves that Cypriots would rather surrender and would rather live under foreign rule than fight to death. Of course running away from foreign rule and abandoning our land to the enemy is also a popular option that 100s of thousand of "brave" Cypriots choose.

You should not make any assumptions about people living abroad. Just because they do, does not mean that Cyprus is meaningless or less important to them compared to those that remain in Cyprus. Sometimes the opposite is true.

Further to this, I would love to see the amount of tax that is paid by such persons into RoC coffers. I am sure it is significant because many pay tax as do I. It might not be as much as you, but neither are we a burden on RoC social services like education and health.

If Cyprus has a war, I would be only too happy to come over and help. I don't need recognition for it either because once it's finished, I will probably leave.

I’d tell him to get a spine and stand up straight, but he’s 100% a poofter!

Normal men don’t cry 24/7 and keep complaining that the enemy is 100 times bigger like this bitch!

Well too bad bitch… now take it like a man and shut the fuck up! Oh wait...

Btw, no wonder you hate the Military and God so bad… they are the two things you couldn't fit it… in the army they treated you like shit and you hated them, and God you cannot face because of your gay sins!
