...it just tells you that he is not that ready to get in bed with anyone, Putin's Russia in this sense is no different to the bankers he vows to fight, isn't it?

"brothers" it is said so far by a few quite far apart, not leaders in power, but alternatives to what represents the status quo...

How is he gonna fight the bankers? They will just cut him loose with no money at all.

then what?

With 3% projected growth this year, I don't think he can afford to play any games.

Tsipras is coming to Cyprus today, and it seems that, in the course of his visit, he will meet with a Turkish Cypriot (on government-controlled territory), Dr. Meltem Onurkan Samani, Assistant Professor of History at the European University of Lefke and Vice-President of the Association for Historical Dialogue and Research (AHDR). This is apparently a first for a Greek prime-minister.
