Got to admire French Free Speech

Postby Paphitis » Thu Jan 08, 2015 5:27 pm

These are the cartoons that provoked the bloody terrorist attack.

I don't know about you, but I admire this level of free speech which seems to be increasingly whittled away in the Western World due to so called "political correctness".

let's hope the French have the courage to continue this and be an example for other countries.

Yes Britain, US, Australia and Canada, I am talking about you!

Free stupidity more like!

The US is funding terrorism left, right, and center yet these French clowns had nothing to say about that other than the usual one sided bollocks blaming 3rd world ragheads for the world’s ills!

If that’s the best they can come up with then good riddance to bad rubbish and let that be a lesson to any other biased loser out there!

Atheists and humanists are increasingly being targeted as distinct minorities in “hate campaigns” across the globe, according to a new report which found that religious and political leaders are ratcheting up rhetoric against those who believe there is no God.

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world ... 13662.html

This goes to show that it works both ways, and I have never heard of any atheists killing religious people just for making fun of them, let alone saying hateful things about them. Yet, all throughout history, religious leaders have used violence to silence those who expose the lies that keep them in power. This just proves that they are indeed lies.

The West through its constant barbarous actions has turned Christianity into the most evil and hated religion on the planet bringing Christians unparalleled shame.

We’ve gotten so low that we’re now tormenting people that are down just because they happen to be of the “wrong” religion!

Are you talking about the inquisition?

And by the same token, the number of times Catholicism, or Jewry was ridiculed (and persecuted), you would think that Catholics and Jews would go on a murderous rampage. But they don't!

Here's an anti-atheist cartoon:

Hands up the atheists among us who want to see its author killed?

Here’s a Turkish cartoon poking fun at atheists:

Image

It says:

“Feminism is until you get a husband,
Communism is until you get money,
and atheism is until the plane starts shaking”

That one gave me a smile, and I’m an atheist. I can take as good as I give.

Hate speech is when you say, for example, “Go out and kill an atheist”, not when you make fun of atheism.
