Many Turkish Cypriot extremists ask Us (Greek Cypriots) to accept that they simply cannot live in mixed neighbourhoods, towns and villages because of differences of race and religion, and this entitles the Turkish Army to prevent every non Turk from living in their towns and villages.

Big deal there were some race riots in the late 50's and 60's. So fucking what! There were idiots on both sides and a few people died...so what. Shit happens when you are dealing with idiots.

There are race riots between Muslims and Anglo australians right now. Humanity will survive the acts of the idiots from both sides.

Surely there are turkish Cypriots who want to truly cooperate with all other Cypriots without ethnically excluding non turks from towns and villages they have occupied for many 1000's of years.

A church in Macquarie Fields, also in Sydney, was damaged in the early hours of yesterday morning, suffering minor fire damage after what police believe was an incendiary device was thrown through the front door.

The shots were fired into cars not into a Church. Jesus, you like to tell lies and cause trouble don't ya?

The Uniting Church hall in Auburn, which is next to an Islamic centre, caught fire about 1.30am (AEDT) today.
It follows an incident at nearby St Joseph the Worker Primary School where shots were fired into cars and parents abused during a Christmas carols service.

Calm down,you two.
I was at Auburn yesterday and everything was as calm as ever.
What is happening in some Sydney suburbs now is the result of the policies of the Howard government on a number of fronts (refugees, multiculturalism,Iraq war etc.) which has encouraged, albeit implicitly, racism and the feeling of alienation for Muslim Australians.
There is an atmosphere in parts of Australia now that if you are a Muslim Australian you are somehow suspect of being not a good Australian.
This combined with the fact that there are vested interests (like white supremists on one side, and irresponsible thugs on the other)stirring the pot has created this temporary problem which will be dealt with by the police by lawful means. How this can be dragged into the Cypro is beyond me

Hey, maybe you should ask that question to the person who started this thread, he mixed the both up and I replied.

I can see that, Eric Dayi.
But you can practise some restraint and refuse to get down into the gutter, can't you?If I were your teacher,I'd make you write an essay titled "Ten things I love about Greek Cypriots". And before you jump on me,I'd make him do the same about Turkish Cypriots.
I know I am not either of you's teacher (how is that for butchering the English language!)but do you think you could write those essays anyway, just to make me and Alexios and Cypezokyli happy???
