I recall sometime back discussing with a British born Pakistani Doctor who strongly believed that mother Teresa could not possibly enter paradise as she was not a Muslim. Such brainwashing from infancy, or rather mental rape, ought to be addressed if only to avoid future conflicts developing.

Believe whatever you want to believe , live and let live. I do not believe in medieval beliefs, I believe in freedom and human rights.

so you would like to change the kuran. have you read the satanic verses.

No need to change it. Just recycle it.

These are the fundamental components, from my understanding:

Provisos!

Muslims living in non-Muslim countries have to comply with laws and regulations of the country they have been entrusted though valid visas to enter. At the same time, they have to avoid whatever contradicts Islamic teachings.

In case they are obliged by law to uphold something contrary to Islamic teachings, they have to adhere to the minimum that the law requires of them.

If these are today's Islamic teachings, it explains a lot as to why young men (and women) are going around disobeying the laws of the lands they have entered (even with "forged documents" as one teaching seems to accept as some kind of norm). They are licensed to kill; they are taught that they can by-pass "the laws" in favour of not "disobeying Islamic Law". This being choosing what they consider as "justice" in following their Islamic faith.

I'm sorry, but this is prejudicial to a civilised society.

In all fairness, the overwhelming majority of French Muslims have categorically condemned and distanced themselves from these psychopathic murderers. It could well be that the fanatical movements behind them expected this to spark of a massive rebellion, and, if so, it has backfired.

Let us not make the mistake of stigmatising a whole community over the acts of a couple of deranged individuals from this community.

indeed, with few words, do unto others...

...any one of us can do our part, GIG, it is not with words but acts; so should we be Judged, each of us may find an interpretation that suits our own well-being as Persons, but intention is another matter and personal. I'm not exactly sure what you are getting at, everyone condemns this kind of madness, who are these Leaders that you expect to speak up; unlike Catholics, there is no "Pope".

From what i understand of the Muslim religion, it is as socialised as our own, Christian Orthodox, because whatever their authority as churches and whatever the hierarchy, there are the words of the Prophets, that each and every one of us must as believers, from them, find our own answers, because each and every one of us is no different in that way/"way". And what is wrong with conscientious objection, that is how i read the exceptions you noted, nothing in it that would condone these extremes. Indeed Injustice leads anyone of us to question Authority, it appears the Koran gives guidance which is suitable to anyone of us as well.

too late Lordo, "you" got your own, who are leaving a great book smelly.

...real believers use rocks that they can wash to wipe their ass, but that is another story; you are mistaken, the paper is softer than you think to those who do not think.

Exactly what I've been telling you again but this time from another great author, Justin Raimondo:

March of the Hypocrites

It was only natural that "world leaders" would place themselves at the head of the Paris "unity" demonstration held to express outrage at the vicious Charlie Hebdo murders. Daniel Wickham, a student at the London School of Economics, compiled a list of the enemies of free speech who elbowed their way to the head of the march. Most hypocritical of all are the French themselves, who have laws against "hate speech" which are only selectively enforced and which have been used against the editors of Charlie Hebdo in the past. This cognitive dissonance was eloquently expressed by one Frenchman who carried a sign saying: "I’m marching but I’m conscious of the confusion and hypocrisy of the situation."

If anything, this Charlie Hebdo debacle has been nothing but a major egg on the face of the hypocritical West!

Hey Tim, high time you inserted both feet in mouth!

Nah mate! If anything, these types of things only strengthen the West.

Sad for the lost ones and their family, but the West will never cower. A country like France and Australia do not cower.

I know you are trying to convince yourself, but the West will NEVER change it's Freedom of Expression because of some idiots who indiscriminately shot innocent people in cold blood.
