I take your point, but this does show our self-appointed religious expert and defender of two faiths that
extrajudicial killings are not permitted in one of the faiths he, along with the psychopaths who murdered innocent people at Charlie Hebdo, purports to defend.
It's very subtle, but the fact the qualifier goes on to separate "justice" and "the law" gives those who think they are "justified" the
right to take life even if "the law" doesn't apply.
Justice can be viewed as more personally applicable/loaded than
law, especially when presented in a religious context, don't you think.
(Furthermore, 'Islamic Law' is a different kettle of fish to our western legal laws. Therefore, taken in context, it's saying go and kill anyone that you feel needs to be killed in order for my teachings to have any meaning. Circular argument.)
