Cannot help with hire but the whole of Cyprus is replete with unmade roads. In Latchi in particular to the West you have the Akamas area while to east are the Troodos, with Forest trails. Take a look at Google earth.

Decent maps BTW are quite rare, so a print out or six from Google Earth/Google Maps (Hybrid View) Might be the best bet.

Thanks .
I have found a couple of places online for hire , not too sure about quality though . Good idea about maps , I have a flip book that I use for my own bike that I could put them in .
I also have a motorcycle sat nav , have you any idea if they work well in cyprus ? I know here they are useless for green lanes and unmade roads .
Thanks again.

It's a bit fishy in Latchi, but the fish tastes good there.
