but you see halil gcs do not like that, they want a unitary state like they had in 1973 with tcs in enclaves. they have a lovely new name for it too, they call it multi-zone. there are some very clever gcs here.

Turkey gets kicked out of NATO, loses EU bid and privileges, Cyprus is liberated.

End of story. :D

No thanks!

True Cypriots aren’t interested in federations with either Turkey or Greece.

And NATO??? Whatever for…

Defence and Security!

It's a concept Cyprus has been unable to grasp with obvious repercussions!

NATO's a disaster to the rest of the world. Was never really a problem for its members.

Bi- zonal and communal, why ignore the other communities of Cyprus, what gave you people the right to obliterate the Armenians, Maronites, Latins and Roma and presume they do not share in this federation as distinct communities.

So let us have a MULTI zonal multi communal federation with full political equality for all its constituent states.

Mention that to a Turk and his stomach ties up in knots. Reacting to the assumption that a miniscule community can be equal to his. And then we can have a rotating presidency like you want. A roma president for six months would be nice for TCs knowing their total immunity to racism!

Well if 18 equals 80 then 2 can equal 18, no problem.

...well said.

If we make the commitment to recognise and respect our distinct identities as Persons, it is only possible if as Individuals we act on these intentions, as one People. Thus the true meaning of the word Bicommunal is resolved, not a "Greek"-"Turk" issue, yet indeed an issue of Identity; one Cyprus, a Republic of Cyprus, the identity of a Cypriot as a Cypriot, and within this State, another level of Government, where, as Constituencies, Cypriots can demonstrate that as a majority within their Territorial Jurisdictions, they have Goodwill toward the special needs of the minorities that live among them.

of course you can. let everyone govern themselves. if 0.5 million equals 350 million in eu why wouldnt 18 equal 80.

you better learn it and learn it well. the time that you were in control is over.

you will never again have power over tcs. kapish.
