Do you want it to have a UK or Greek (physical) keyboard layout ? If you want it to have Greek one then buying it in UK will be near impossible I think.

Good point Erol... it doesn't matter Milti, its give or take 10 bucks!

PS: Don’t spend more than €300-350 for an 11 year old.

They tend to eat and drink over them! They also fall asleep while using them and kick them off the bed.

Forgive my ignorance but my grand daughter tells me that an English keyboard can also be used as a Greek one !!!

Is this possible ?

Yes you can add multiple language support via Windows but that’s not the issue we were talking about.

The problem is that laptop keypads come with or without Greek letters printed on the keys as a reminder when typing, or whichever other non-English language you want.

If you buy from the UK you have to ORDER a laptop with Greek characters visible on the keys and that may take months to arrive but here they’ve got them on the shelves already.

It all comes down to if the kid needs/wants Greek characters visible on the keypad… if not buy it from the UK otherwise from Cyprus.

when I was in the market for a laptop several years ago I decided to purchase mine from the UK.

I got a model with greater performance for the same or less money than what you can get in Cyprus.

Regarding the issue with Greek characters on the keyboard, you can simply buy stickers of the Greek symbols from somewhere like ebay and stick them on to the appropriate keys.

I just can’t imagine Milti sticking two dozen little rectangles on a keypad only to find that they’ve gone all sticky and messy in Cyprus’ 42 degree heat.
