Viewpoint, live the nonsense and let us know, is Talat realizing the deadlocks which the Turkish policy on Cyprus is leading the TC community or not yet? Is he realizing that Turkey’s plans are to use you as a hostage to her EU ambitions, or not yet? If yes, what are his plans to help his community get over this vicious circle? Papadopoullos is waiting for him to emancipate himself from the mainland Turkish yoke and come to the table to negotiate with him as a Cypriot to a Cypriot. Papadopoullos is ready for his concessions to the TC community, but he wants to make sure that any concessions are made to another Cypriot and not to Turkey. What is Talat doing? Why is it taking him so long?

There you go, the simplest answers are always the best. Remember that people. When you are going to sit down at a hostile negotiating table first strip your self of all your strengths then hope for the best.
You forgot to mention what type of flowers Papa prefers Kifeas.

hey kifeas
i also dont think that the tc leadership is tottaly innosent. they didnt take us to court because the seperation of the communities served both leadership at the time. we kept all the power to ourselves (makarios is happy) and they started strengthening the fear and partition ideas in the tc community (denktash is happy).
but, knowing that the partition idea was gaining points under the second-in-rank tc leader at the time (our well known rauf) , making a proposal to take the veto power away didnt need much of intelligence to realise in what paths we were pushing the tcs.

Kifeas has someone ruffeled your feathers? Talat has to work closely with his main ally Turkey, he cannot bite off the hand that feeds him when he knows that the GCs are not dependable and show no signs of wanting and moving towards taking concrete steps to negotiate on the A plan. All they are doing is paying lip service to the notion and in time more and more people will realize this fact.

Papadopoullos is waiting for him to emancipate himself from the mainland Turkish yoke and come to the table to negotiate with him as a Cypriot to a Cypriot.

As we said before Talat can only do this if the isolation is lifted and we can economically improve to not be so dependent on Turkeys financial aid, who is stopping the direct trade? ask yourself? When you lived wşth your father who gave you pocket money you had to coexsist and adhere to his rules if you wants that money but once you were free of economical dependence then you made your own decisions, do you understand what I am saying? If the isolation and negative stance towards TCs continues then all you can expect is for Talat to work closely with Turkey and not anyone else. The TC links with EU are about to take a real knock and even get broken off becasue they are not keeping their word and why? ask yourself that?? Is your holding us economcally hostage really working?? ask yourself that??

Papadopoullos is ready for his concessions to the TC community

When did he say that? can I read it somewhere? what concessions?? do you have something to back up what you are saying? or are you pulling it our of your derier as usual? Tassos's viewpoint is very clear, we dont have to keep repeating ourselves, Ex Eoka, old hat political brain need i say more.

Talat is the most flexible leader you will have before you and if you cannot take advantage of the current positive climate coming from the North then obviously you have no desire to find a solution. In time Talats reunification outlook will be eroded due to the lack of results and TCs will look elsewhere, there are many hardliners who believe we should close tha gates do you want to negotiate with them?? ask yourself that?

I have a proposition to make:

Lets hunt down and kill Kifeas.

Its just a proposition and, if Kifeas objects, I'll take it back. I'll find another way to ge rid of him.
